When I first began planning this
site, I asked myself what its purpose would be and to whom would it be
directed. The site is an online "newsletter," a means
for me to keep in touch with family, friends, and acquaintances.
It is intended to be current as much as possible. But, it also
serves to bring those who have not been in touch with me over time up to
date on what I've been doing. That is the purpose of the
Remembrances
page. The other pages focus on my significant
current interests. Hopefully, the site will be a good, but never complete,
reflection of who I was and who I am now.
Family and friends are its primary
audience. But it also is intended for
co-workers, past and current acquaintances - including cyber friends,
old high school classmates, Army buddies, college friends, those whom I
directed in various plays, those with whom I've worked, anyone who might
have known me over the years who might be asking the question, "I
wonder where he is now"?
I would be ecstatic if a long unheard from Army
buddy or college friend would wander into the site while browsing the
net some evening and decide to say hello. I'd encourage you to use
the Contact page should you decide to do so.
But, this is also the internet, and I fully
recognize that the contents of the site are readable by everyone. And,
so, you are welcome here if you are a total stranger. I hope you will find something of interest
in the pages. You are requested not to remove photos or text from
the site for any purpose. If you have something about the site you
would like to comment to me about, please do so.
The site is open for everyone's eyes to
see. |
